"ago, filo e nodo" (needle, thread and knot) is a sculpture by the Swedish (American) pop-art artist Claes Oldenburg, which many people don't like, but I do, because it represents the symbol of fashion in the city of fashion. Yellow-green-red are Lithuanian colours :) but they're also the 3 colours of the main underground metro lines (there is also blue, "passante ferroviario", line 4 and 5 will be under construction) and in fact the thread goes down the ground to represent Milan metro. This sculpture is placed in Cadorna square, that is an important metro station, where red and green lines meet. It is also a train station, not the main one that is Stazione Centrale, but in Stazione Cadorna the train from Malpensa airport (the main airport) arrives here, so this scuplture is what tourists first see when they arrive in Milano.

great gig, we were on the front row. Cowboy western spaghetti scenery, so nice.. very Italian as Paolo. Sometimes it seemed to be in a Sergio Leone movie (see Morricone concert). There was a band with trumpets and all. I uploaded some videos but we were too close to the Marshalls :) loudspeakers. The girls now have gone to Paolo hotel, I'm not interested ^_^

They're Oasis friends as well, and performed gigs with them.

At their last gig in Milan (2005) I met them, they were on the tourbus outside the venue and I met also funny people, a girl from Rimini, an English boy, I gave him a free ticket and he was so happy and surprised because of me speaking English so good ^_^ (sorry for mistakes :), I said it's thanks to your songs :), he said he wanted to learn Italian so well. It's a pity we lost ourselves after the gig, hope to find them again.
