"Dedicato a te" (Giulia) (dedicated to you), Le Vibrazioni from Milan
"Un romantico a Milano" (a romantic in Milan), Baustelle.
Noir atmosphere, intriguing melody, a city that is the background for love stories and the underworld
"Milano", Alex Britti, saying the smell of the sea can even arrive to Milan
"Porta Romana" (a square), Giorgio Gaber
"Il ragazzo della via Gluck" (the boy from Gluck street), live in Berlin,
Adriano Celentano, with Beatles boots and Liam Gallagher hat ahaha
a "must", (very) popular song.
AC Milan hymn, best club in history
Feltrinelli publisher, one of the main Italian publishing houses (they also sell instruments with Ricordi), will print OasisBlues, a "best of" collection: so now there's a long work to put everything in order, throw away things, add new ones, etc.
It's about everything we like: Milan, fashion, music, Oasis, football, cute girls :), City, Italy, England.
Of course I'm not gonna give millions of copies, it wouldn't be possible (maybe someday), just a few ones for the biggest fans who want to keep something real, not virtual as in internet. All this is gonna cost a few Euros, not much, mainly for the cost of putting all together and printing (it will be in colours and all). I think I'm gonna make one about Milan as first, then OasisBlues.
Recently I already wrote some issues, comic ones. And when I was a kid I made my own magazines (about cars, then videogames) and I had a thousand good ideas (the difficult and expensive part was printing, I was using an old typewriter as the great Montanelli :). Of course almost nobody was listening to me :), they were all sleeping as almost everybody now, history repeating :) (as the boy Noel on gigs: he always told his friends to come to the concerts - full of blondes :) - but of course nobody was listening :)
So now I can already have an idea of how many copies I should make them print, reserve your copy writing me: firstname.lastname@example.org
This is the new Amy Winehouse collection.
Fred Perry competition ended (though it's still possible to vote and see the entries, as an archive), my challenge Oasis vs Beatles finished with a 54-54 :) and I'm among the first 50 people to win the £5,000 or clothes in January.
Oasis+Johnny Depp (guitar)+Kate Moss
The actors are interesting people: David Hemmings (also on Dario Argento's "Profondo Rosso", Deep Red, the scariest film I ever seen), the English (and not french :) Jane Birkin (first frontal nude at cinema), Vanessa Redgrave, and my favourite musician, the immense Jimmy Page (and Noel Gallagher agrees :)
My favourite director is Alfred Hitchcock, and there's a bit of him in Blow-up, some mystery, and also a bit of Swinging London which reminded me of Carnaby Street and Pretty Green.
The final scene in a field is meaningful, as the Beatles said: Strawberry fields, nothing is real.
Blow-up also inspired Brian De Palma film Blow Out with John "Tony Manero" Travolta :)
Jane Birkin & Gillian Hills, Oasis fringe hairstyle :)
I uploaded the first preview. Buy the album clicking here

Do you remember, here, the "manifesto" of modism? It was an admiration of youth. The same was for Milan Futurism. Besides, modism has a nationalist symbol, with the colours of Great Britain flag (often you may find it with Italian colours, just changing the blue with green and keeping Milan red&white). The same for Milan Futurism, admiring nationalism.
Though there are differences, Futurism was revolutionary.
Today I visited the new 900 museum, there's a lot about it. And there are already many Italian flags around, 'cause on 17 March 2011, the day after Beady Eye gig in Milan, it's Italy's birthday, 150 years old, still a quite young nation, though the Roman empire was very old.
Futurism was an art movement that originated in Italy in the early 20th century. It was largely an Italian phenomenon, though there were parallel movements in England, Russia, Hungary and elsewhere.
The Italian writer Filippo Tommaso Marinetti was its founder and most influential personality. He launched the movement in his Futurist Manifesto, first in Milan, then published in the French daily newspaper Le Figaro on 20 February 1909. In it Marinetti expressed a passionate loathing of everything old. "We want no part of it, the past", he wrote, "we the young and strong Futurists!" The Futurists admired speed, technology, youth and violence, the car, the airplane and the industrial city, all that represented the technological triumph of humanity over nature (Beady Eye image: the young girl controlling the crocodile representing nature :), and they were passionate nationalists.
The Futurists practiced in every medium of art, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, graphic design, industrial design, interior design, theatre, film, fashion, textiles, literature, music, architecture and even gastronomy.
Liam Gallagher almost the same :), he already made music, Pretty Green fashion, soon cinema (DiLello book about the Beatles) and will write a book of memories.
"Step off the train all alone at dawn..." (military video of Oasis' D'you know what I mean, with helicopters - and @ 900 museum there's also a helicopter) "look into the wall of my mind's eye...", also saying "don't look back" as futurists did.
We have been up all night, my friends and I, beneath mosque lamps whose brass cupolas are bright as our souls, because like them they were illuminated by the internal glow of electric hearts. And trampling underfoot our native sloth on opulent Persian carpets, we have been discussing right up to the limits of logic and scrawling the paper with demented writing.
Our hearts were filled with an immense pride at feeling ourselves standing quite alone, like lighthouses or like the sentinels in an outpost, facing the army of enemy stars encamped in their celestial bivouacs. Alone with the engineers in the infernal stokeholes of great ships, alone with the black spirits which rage in the belly of rogue locomotives, alone with the drunkards beating their wings against the walls.
Then we were suddenly distracted by the rumbling of huge double decker trams that went leaping by, streaked with light like the villages celebrating their festivals, which the Po in flood suddenly knocks down and uproots, and, in the rapids and eddies of a deluge, drags down to the sea.
We want to glorify war - the only cure for the world - militarism, patriotism...
(photo: "war is the only hygiene of the world")
Standing on the world's summit we launch once again our insolent challenge to the stars!
The (Greek) Victory of Samothrace was stolen by the French as usual...
My favourites are the Romanian Andreea Olariu, now living in Milan (she reminded me of Nikka Costa when I was a child, successful thanks to Tony Renis from Milan), and the Italian Silvia Iannone, but there are many, they sing as adults, even much better than so many famous singers, and they're also terribly sweet :)
Liam Gallagher says he's not partying anymore but stays at home also on Saturday nights to watch "Strictly come dancing" on tv (and it seems he was influenced in the dancing songs "Bring the light" and "The roller" :), recently I often did the same with "Io canto" :))
Hero, the new Mariah Carey :)
All by myself
Caruso, as Paolo Nutini last summer :)
Silvia, Waka waka
(Out here) on my own, Nikka Costa
when I was a child I was in love :) (not with Tony Renis ^_^)
though I was younger than Nikka
Near Duomo cathedral, at the Football English pub where Oasis have been several times to drink. There's also a table dedicated to former Milan and England manager Fabio Capello (rumours say he's gonna be the new Inter Milan coach) and one to former Milan and Ireland manager Trapattoni. Notice the Guinness (with Irish clover-hearts) in the place of the moon ^_^

As part of a host of festive activities taking place this Christmas at the City Stores, the fiery cook will be signing copies of his new book titled ‘Marco Made Easy’.
To mark the release of the new book that hit the City stores shelves this week, we are giving five lucky fans the chance to not only meet Marco privately and get a free copy of the book, but also have their picture taken with the celebrity chef.
To be in with a shout of winning, simply answer the following question.
What is the name of Marco Pierre White’s cafe in City Square?
Please send your answer to email@example.com with the title Marco competition in the subject box.
As if that’s not enough, City legend Mike Summerbee will also be on hand meeting fans and signing copies of his autobiography which was released in paperback with three new never before published chapters.
The pair will be in the City Store from 5-6pm, don’t miss out.
(from Manchester City official site)
As if you're too far from Manchester, Marco Nelson will also be on hand preparing an Italian dish for you, lol!
book here: "The Devil in the Kitchen: Sex, Pain, Madness, and the Making of a Great Chef"
Some pics & vids with Cristina Chiabotto, Milan mayor, the redhead lol Mrs Letizia Moratti and Martina Colombari @ 900 Museum.
the biggest Christmas tree in the world + meaning of the lights
the new 900 museum
Here are some quick mobile phone pics (I will take again better ones soon): the tallest Christmas tree in the world (in Mexico it's taller but it's artificial... here is natural, from the Alps (where I've seen my last Oasis gig), that for me is like Ireland for Oasis, also where the surname comes from), then see Milan RayBan (Oasis sunglasses) in red and this year: Swarovski hearts next to my sponsor Swarovski shop... and still the Kiss!!!
I have free tickets to visit the famous Toti (not yellow :) submarine+museum with the director of Leonardo Da Vinci museum next to us. Contact me if you're interested, see these photos here
+ soon: Pretty Green catalogue (the director told me today), vouchers, Relays, Beady Eye...many gifts :)
"Clothes and music are my passion. I'm not here to rip anyone off and I'm not doing it for the money either. I'm doing it cuz there's a lack of stuff out there of the things I would wear".
ghghgh mitico, ghe pensa lü :)
Encapsulating the style and swagger of the most iconic front man of our generation.
They've already been to Netherlands and Berlin in their European tour, waiting for them in Italy someday.
Read this article about them:
Nothing to give but love (single version)
You invented horror
No it's not Manchester City's Carlos Tevez band :)
commercial of the Argentinian beer Quilmes
The song is another version of the Italian "Gloria" by Umberto Tozzi.
I write something in Spanish, dedicated to her, because Noel Gallagher was not the only one bringing luck to Italy world champion...
Oasisblues is now "English tabloid, Italian paparazzi", lol!
Total love between Brit&Italy :)). More precisely: England&Milan.
Here are some other Lambretta shop pics.
Milano Lambretta, also featuring in mods manifesto film Quadrophenia, Oasis Be here now, and Pretty Green shop in Carnaby Street
As I told you and contacted him, no English artist as last year, but still the Kiss, fortunately it seems there's something similar: no mistletoe now but these hearts going up to Milan-England symbol :), in the heart of Milan. And still the blue dome, oh yes.
Tomorrow Saturday at 18:00 hour, the inauguration ceremony in Duomo cathedral square.
There will be 60 works until January all around the city: clouds, bridges, glistening fogs, moons, fountains, suns, butterflies, whales, etc., all made of light, as a kaleidoscope.
And something special for John Lennon anniversary, from 8 December.
Psychedelic experience in Milan.
Beady Eye: bring the light :)
Lucy in the sky with diamonds, the girl with kaleidoscope eyes,
inspired by Alice in Wonderland.
Many led festival works seem to come from Alice.
Lennon said it's the girl on a boat coming to save him: he lost her
but then finds her again at the station.
And here's Marco Zanell ^_^ your guide :), last Saturday night dj set, some Saturday night fever :)
About 2 hours, 39 songs, I would make you tired as hell :)
Of course I couldn't choose many of my favourite songs 'cause they were not "danceable", though I love these ones, slowing in the end 'cause getting tired :), a mix of oldies and recent, but always goodies :), above all: classics.
Enjoy! Let's start with Italian words :), that mean "all fruits" :)

there would be many more. I should put all the Beach Boys songs :), but the limit was 2 hours.
and here is a video I made from mod Quadrophenia, just a bit slower edit - 92%, to match the images, feat. the Ace Face and the diving scene
"We get chatting to Marco who was around for Paolo Nutini arriving and had given him a quick hand shake then sloped off, (you know how cool guys like to play it), he is really a Brit Indie lad at heart trapped inside the body of an Italian guy, his taste in music is fabulous".
maybe also Italian lad at heart inside an English guy :)
