If you come for these activities, you're always thin ^_^
As in the other summers, we can make the usual barbecue in my country house (not here in Milan, but quite close)
For vegetarians: no problem, we have also a lot of vegetables :)

Dopo aver catturato l'attenzione di oltre 80mila visitatori, la struttura diventerà il primo Museo Sensoriale Vivente di Milano. Ospiterà 300 esemplari esotici in una serra climatizzata. L'Assessore Cadeo: "Realizzeremo un polo delle Scienze Naturali in sintonia con la nostra visione di verde accessibile al cittadino”
Milano, 2 febbraio 2010 – E' stato presentato oggi a Palazzo Marino il progetto architettonico del nuovo padiglione che accoglierà in via definitiva l’“Oasi delle Farfalle", la serra allestita ai giardini Montanelli che ospita circa 300 esemplari esotici di insetti, in un clima da foresta tropicale. La struttura, unica a livello europeo, diventerà il primo “Museo Sensoriale Vivente" di Milano.
“E’ stata una felice intuizione del Comune – ha spiegato l’assessore all’Arredo, Decoro urbano e Verde Maurizio Cadeo - nata anche grazie all’incontro con Patricia Kieran, Presidente dell’Associazione Cometa Divulgazione Scientifica Onlus –, quella di inserire l’Oasi delle Farfalle in un nuovo padiglione che sorgerà tra il Museo di Storia Naturale e il Planetario all’interno dei Giardini Montanelli di porta Venezia. La decisione nasce dal grande interesse dimostrato dai cittadini che in poco più di un anno e mezzo hanno visitato in massa il primo allestimento dell’Oasi: i visitatori sono stati oltre 80.000, di cui 8.000 studenti".
“Il progetto – ha aggiunto Cadeo - è in linea con l’obiettivo di creare un polo delle Scienze Naturali in sintonia con la nostra visione di verde accessibile al cittadino, un verde utilizzabile e frequentabile".
Grazie anche all’investimento dell’Associazione Cometa, che finanzia interamente il progetto, e alla collaborazione del Museo di Storia Naturale e dell’Associazione Didattica Museale, l“‘Oasi delle Farfalle" ha lo scopo di sensibilizzare il pubblico all’attenzione e al rispetto per la natura e rappresenta un tassello di un più ampio progetto che si propone di arricchire l’offerta di servizi culturali e didattici in vista dell’Expo 2015.
